Smiggle- Trademark Customs Issue

A company in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China registered the "smiggle" trademark and filed for trademark rights with the customs over China, resulting in the seizure of Smiggle backpacks manufactured by OEM in China for the Australian trademark right holder. We represented the Chinese company in a trademark infringement lawsuit against the Australian trademark right holder and reached a settlement during the lawsuit, successfully facilitating the transfer of the trademark from the Chinese company to the Australian trademark owner of Smiggle.
